Satmar Rebbe Meets with Chabad at JFK Airport
Before the Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum of Kiryas Joel, caught his flight at JFK Airport to Argentina, he first stopped by the Chabad Air Mivtzoyim booth and discussed Chabad’s activities with Rabbi Yossi Rapp, followed by maariv in Rabbi Aryeh Korenblit international Shul at the airport.
On his way to visit the growing Satmar community in Argentina, Satmar Rebbe of Kiryas Yoel, Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum, met with Chabad Air staff and Chabad Mikvah expert, Rabbi Elazar Raichik.

On his way to visit the growing Satmar community in Argentina, Satmar Rebbe of Kiryas Yoel, Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum, met with Chabad Air staff and other Chabad chassidim.
Rabbi Yossi Rapp, director of Chabad Air, and Rabbi Shmuli Butler, met the Satmar Rebbe and spoke to him about their mivtzoim activities for the thousands of Yidden who pass daily through JFK International Airport.
After his entourage davened mairiv at the shul in Terminal 4, the Satmar Rebbe met with Chabad Mikvah expert, Rabbi Elazar Raichik, and reviewed plans and pictures of various mikvaos that Rabbi Raichik is building around the world. Rabbi Aryeh Korenblit, rabbi of the Terminal 4 shul, also took an interest in Rabbi Raichik’s work.
Rabbi Shmuli Butler was also seen talking with the son of the Vizhnitz Rebbe, Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Hager, Av Beis Din of Vizhnitz Elad, who received a copy of the Darchei HaChassidus sefer and praised the Chabad activities at the airport.
