Revised and Expanded Halikut Program Launches for 7th Year

After six years of tremendous success, the Halikut program has begun its seventh year, continuing its mission of helping Bochurim learn and retain a complete volume of Likkutei Sichos. This year, in honor of the 30th year since Gimmel Tammuz, Halikut is building on its past achievements and aims to reach new heights.

Organized by Vaad Hatmimim, Halikut has been launched for the seventh consecutive year as a program for Bochurim in Mesivtas and Zals. Hundreds of Bochurim have participated each year, learning and retaining a complete volume of Likkutei Sichos.

Revolutionary in its approach to Bochurim’s study of Likkutei Sichos, the program has each Bochur spend the week thoroughly learning three Sichos on the Parshah, which they then review for a monthly test. Those who pass all three monthly tests qualify to attend the grand Halikut Siyum, where they take a final test on all thirty-six Sichos. The program is designed for frequent and consistent review, ensuring Bochurim retain all the details of the entire Sefer.

This year, hundreds of Bochurim from over 25 Yeshivos worldwide will be studying Chelek Chof of Likkutei Sichos over the next three months.

Emphasizing hiskashrus through the study of the Rebbe’s Torah in this thirtieth year since Gimmel Tammuz, Halikut has significantly expanded its program, announcing several key updates.

For the first time, Halikut is now open to Bochurim in Shiur Beis Mesivta, adding a new group of eager participants to the program.

Additionally, a new track, Halikut L’Iyuna, has debuted, focusing on a more in-depth study of the Sichos. This track includes selected Haoros on the weekly Sichos, which a Bochur will study and be tested on. Participation in this track requires deeper engagement and in-depth analysis, offering a new and profound understanding of the Sichos.

To kick off the program, each participating Yeshiva held an event featuring a member of their Hanhala who delivered a presentation on the importance of dedicating oneself to the study of the Rebbe’s Torah, along with a special Halikut promo video.
