Reservist Shliach Seriously Injured from Landmine
Rabbi Liraz Zeira, a shliach on Campus in the Nachlaot neighborhood of Yerushalayim and a Major in the IDF reserves, was critically injured in a blast near an army post in Syria.

According to reports, Rabbi Zeira was preparing the outpost for Yom Kippur when he jumped from a tank, unintentionally triggering an old mine. He was airlifted to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
Earlier in the conflict, Rabbi Zeira served in Gaza, where he followed the Rebbe’s horaa to print copies of the Tanya worldwide.
