Record Number of 770 Bochurim Join Yissachar-Zevulun Program

The “Yissachar and Zevulun” learning program has launched this year with a record 450 bochurim registered for the yearlong learning tracks, enabling them to focus on Torah study without financial concerns.

Following the tremendous success of previous years, the “Yissachar and Zevulun” learning program has expanded once again – this year accommodating 450 bochurim. Hundreds have already registered for the yearlong learning tracks, which enable focused Torah study without financial concerns.

As every year, the program began with great enthusiasm, offering participants a consistent and structured framework to fully devote themselves to learning in 770. Each bochur selects one specific study track to pursue throughout the year and receives a monthly stipend based on his diligence and progress.

Due to overwhelming demand in past years – when dozens were unable to join – the Iggud Talmidei HaK’vutza expanded the program to include 450 participants. Every bochur accepted this year will receive a steady monthly scholarship, without any lottery, allowing them to immerse completely in learning Torah.

This year’s five study tracks include: Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim Part 1; Hemshech Yom Tov Shel Rosh Hashanah 5666 (Samech Vov); Likkutei Sichos on Geulah and Moshiach, divided into organized study units; Masechtos Bava Kama and Makkos, learned consecutively throughout the year; and Hilchos Shabbos, Part 2 in the Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Aruch.

The opening ceremony was held earlier this week in the 1414 dining hall and attended by hundreds of eager bochurim. Rabbi Chanoch Cohen spoke about the importance of establishing a fixed schedule in Torah learning, especially during the K’vutza year. Rabbi Pinchas Tzvi Margolis then presented the various study tracks and full curriculum, followed by Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm, who explained the registration process.

Since the event, registration has been in full swing, with organizers reporting record interest and excitement “greater than ever,” felt throughout 770.
