On Thursday, the annual Tzama events kicked off in honor of Yud Tes Kislev with a record-breaking number of people joining for the concerts, bargain-priced Chassidus Seforim, art exhibitions, and an extensive program for yeshiva bochurim.

Enormous crowds arrived at the International Convention Center (previously known as Binyanei Hauma), in Giv’at Ram in Yerushalayim this past Thursday as the famous Tzama extravaganza kicked off in honor of Yud Tes Kislev.
Records were broken with over fourteen thousand people filling the convention center to join in the inspiring activities and programs. Bochurim from many Yeshivas came to take the ‘Lev Ladaas’ tests on Chassidus, with large discounts to Seforim at the enormous book being awarded to all those who passed. A massive seforim sale for Chassidus seforim at heavily discounted prices was utilized by thousands.
A special program was held for students of Hesder Yeshivas and for Litvish Yeshivos. The speakers for the Hesder Yeshivas featured Rabbi Peretz Einhorn, director of Tzalash, who heads an organization to strengthen and inspire soldiers serving in the army; Rabbi Pesachya Fogel, who divides his time between serving as a Rosh Mesivta in Mitzpe Ramon, teaching Chassidus at he pre-military academy in Beit Yatir and producing thousands of Shiurim in Chassidus online.
Additional speakers lined up for the program included Rabbi Eyal Vered, senior lecturer at Machon Meir and the Head of Kehillat Yachdav in Petach Tikva; Rabbi Eyal Jacobowitz, Rosh yeshiva of the Hesder Yeshiva in Tzfas; Rabbi Yehoshua Shapira, Rosh yeshiva of Ramat Gan Yeshiva; and popular lecturer Rabbi YY Jacobson. The ‘Ya’halelohi’ Band played upbeat niggunei simcha together with master singer Avraham Yitzchak Rosenzweig.
The large musical performances were live-streamed for over two and a half hours on Israel’s Channel 14, with 150,000 live viewers at its peak.
