The Backman and Polter families are sitting shiva in Crown Heights after the passing of Rabbi Yonah Leibush Backman AH in Yerushalayim.
Rabbi Yonah Leibush Backman AH, passed away in Yerushalayim, where he lived.
He was 77 years old.
He is survived by his brothers R’ Avraham Yitzchok (Albany, NY), R’ Sholom (Crown Heights), and his children Goldie Polter (Crown Heights), R’ Tzvi Backman (Somerville, MA), and Ester Backman (Crown Heights).
He was predeceased by his brother R’ Shlomo Binyomin AH.

Shacharis 9:30 am (through Sunday morning)
Nichum aveilim until 12:30 pm
Mincha at 4:30 pm followed by Maariv
Nichum Aveilim until 9 pm.
