Rabbi Motti Anati, a Chabad activist in Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed away this morning Zayin Menachem Av, 5780.

Rabbi Motti Anati, a Chabad activist in Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed away this morning Zayin Menachem Av, 5780.

He was 67 years old.

Rabbi Anati was involved in many Chabad activities in Fort Lauderdale, FL, bringing many people closer to Yiddishkeit. He also ran a Smicha program, where dozens of Bochurim received their smicha over the years.

In recent months, Rabbi Anati developed a heart condition and was scheduled to undergo surgery this morning. Sadly, he passed away in his sleep.

He is survived by his wife Michelle, and children Bentzion Anati and Chana Gajer.

  8. He always came every year by Purim time to my father with bochurim and he made the atmosphere filled with so much simcha always. He was a true tzaddik.

  10. We are so deeply shocked and saddened that Motti is no longer with us in this world. We will always have such special and beautiful memories of a person who was larger than life, who put every person he ever met before himself and made them feel important. The love he so dearly cherished for his family, Michelle, Hannah, Bentzion, grandchildren and all the family was so special. We have the fondest memories of Motti that we will continue to share with our family. Sending you all our love and wishing you strength during this most difficult time.   13. הרב מוטי ענתי , בכל יום מימות השנה היית מעורב בחיים היהודים , הייתי עסוק אבל הי לך זמן לתת לחיי הפרט , תמיד מוכן לעזור, אם זה לשמח בשמחת פורים , אם לתת חבילות אוכל לאנשים כדי שיוכלו להכניס את חג הפסח, סדרי פסח שערכת כדי שכל יהודי יחגוג את החג,שיירת חג החנוכה שבאת לשמח , חג הפורים עם משלוחי המנות והשמחה , הלב לא יכול להבין מה קרה לנו נשברנו , הקדוש ברוך הוא משיח עכשיו!!!

  14. rabbi moti anati was very good friend come to visit me many times when i was sick in rehab. with broken foot when i fall from roof and allways with big smile and possitive words my hart broke when i hard thet he passed away he was a real tzdik with lots of love to every jew and care about every person . i send my deep condolance to the family zohar cohen and family from coral springs
