On Monday, while Rabbi Leibel Schapiro was in Arizona for a simcha, he took the opportunity to visit the bochurim in the new local Mesivta, headed by Rabbi Yossi Levertov.
The Mesivta in Scottsdale, Arizona, opened its doors for the first time at the beginning of this school year and is already off to a great start. The bochurim, who come from Arizona and all across the country, learn at the Jewish Learning Center adjacent to the Chabad of Scottsdale and live in a dormitory nearby.
Rabbi Schapiro spoke to the bochurim about setting goals for the year. He also discussed the beginning of Maseches Shabbos, which the bochurim are currently learning.
