R’ Mordechai Antal, a member of the Anash community in Montreal passed away while delivering a sicha in shul on Friday night, 21 Teves.
R’ Mordechai Antal, a member of the Anash community in Montreal passed away while delivering a sicha in shul on Friday night, 21 Teves.
He was 60 years old.
R’ Mordechai was a beloved member of the community who davened at JRCC – the Russian shul.
On Friday night, he was delivering a sicha in shul when he suddenly suffered a heart attack and passed away.
He is survived by his wife, Masha (née Sirota), and their children: Mendel Antal (Baltimore), Yitzchak Antal (Montreal), Hencha Gestetner (EY), Pinchas, Tzvi, and Rivka Antal (Montreal).
The levaya will take place today Sunday at 2:30 at JRCC 5380 Bourret Ave, then approx 2:45 at 6405 Westbury.
Kevurah at S. Sophie 2415 2e rue Ste. Sophie, QC J5J 1N5. Mincha will probably be out at the field.
