Rabbi Aharon Zohar, the gabbai of the Chabad Shul on Rashi St. in Bnei Brak and the father of R’ Shaul Zohar of Crown Heights, passed away on Wednesday, 15 Adar.

For decades, he served as a mechanech in Bnei Brak and Lod, and he was very active in the peulos of Tzach in Bnei Brak.

For many years, he served as gabbai of the Chabad shul, where he helped and guided numerous individuals with a warm smile. He also served as a volunteer at the Bnei Brak police department, and he would arrange citywide hanchnasos sifrei Torah.

His wife passed away just four months ago.

The levaya took place on Shushan Purim from his home in Bnei Brak, passing the Chabad shul on Rashi Street, and continuing to Tzfas, where he was laid to rest.

His son, R’ Shaul Zohar, will sit shivah at his home in Crown Heights – 446 Kingston Av #b7
(between Empire Blvd and Lefferts Avenue).
