With the government severely limiting the amount of people allowed inside a shul, the gabboim have announced that the twenty men will be allowed into 770 for Shavuos davening, ten in the main shul and ten in the Kingston women’s section. The selection will be by raffle.

A sign released early Wednesday saying that community members could bid on seats was clarified to have been an early draft. The ten places in the main shul and the women section will continue to be raffled off.

Although President Trump instructed the CDC to designate houses of worship as essential, the State of New York, and especially the Mayor of New York City, stubbornly insist on having only ten people allowed inside Shuls. As per these regulations, only ten men are allowed inside the main shul. The Kingston women’s section, being a different address, can have ten additional people inside.
