Talk about ambitious!
In the seven months between Gimmel Tammuz and Yud Shvat, Project Likkutei Sichos plans to increase their participants by tenfold, reaching 71,000 Yidden as a gift for the Rebbe’s 71st year of leadership.
Over 7,000 participants have joined Project Likkutei Sichos since its inception this year on Yud Shvat. The goal is to study all 39 volumes of the Rebbe’s Likkutei Sichos over a eight year period.
Besides for a study program, the website projectlikkuteisichos.org offers dozens of resources, including shiurim in many languages, source sheets and even a puppet show for children to learn the weekly sicha.
In honor of Gimmel Tammuz, the organizers sent out a message saying they will be setting a goal of 71,000 participants, ten times the current number.
“We plan to call every one of the nearly 7000 Yidden who have signed up, and ask each one of them to participate in the gift to the Rebbe in honor of 71 years,” said the organizers.
Each current participant will be asked to reach out to ten acquaintances, and recruit them to join the project,
“You can help by recruiting 10 friends to sign up to the project. The goal is to have 71,000 participants by Yud Shvat, one year after the launch of Project Likkutei Sichos,” they said.
While the organizers intend to call each one of the 7,000 participants, they say that you don’t have to wait for their call. Below is a sample text you can use to send to ten friends and it is strongly suggested to follow up with a phone call:
‘On Gimmel Tammuz I must share with you how participating in Project Likkutei Sichos has been so enjoyable and accessible for me. If you haven’t signed up, I hope you’ll consider joining. With podcasts, video shiurim, and textual resources, they are really making it so easy to learn Sichos and stay connected. You can sign up at projectlikkuteisichos.org/join.’
