As Iowa eases coronavirus restrictions, the hanhala of Mesivta of Postville announced that Yeshivas Kayitz of Postville will open for the summer of 5780.

“We are excited to announce that, iy”h, that registration is open for Yeshivas Kayitz of Postville – summer of 5780,” they said.

The move comes as the Iowa Department of Public Health continues to relax the COVID-19 restrictions.

“While there will likely be some IDPH restrictions and guidance which we will follow, we anticipate that by the time the summer comes around the overall situation will continue to improve,” they said. “We are sure that the talmidim will enjoy a chassidishe summer full of geshmake learning and lots of fun, in a heimishe atmosphere.”

The directors are working closely with local and state authorities in order to ensure that everything is done in the most safe manner. As to be expected, there will be a number of changes to the program due to safety concerns.

“Since the situation is constantly changing we cannot yet say exactly what regulations will be in place, but we will keep all those who register informed,” they said.

Every summer and even more so this time around, the hanhala anticipates that there will be a larger demand than the amount of talmidim they will be able to accept. Make sure to sign up quickly while there is still space available.
