In a milestone event for the Chabad Yeshiva world, Yeshivas Mayan Torah proudly celebrated the graduation of its very first pioneering class.
Three years ago, 24 young Bachurim embarked on a journey in this newly founded Yeshiva, and this year they stood together—surrounded by proud parents and grandparents—to mark the culmination of their Limmudim and growth.
The Chagigas Hasiyum was filled with inspiration, Hakaras Hatov, and reflection. Guests heard from a few Talmidim, each offering a unique perspective on their time in Yeshiva.
The first speaker, shared his personal journey of uncertainty when first arriving. Unsure if Yeshivas Mayan Torah was the right fit for him, he admitted he was nervous in those early days. But, he said, “this Yeshiva turned out to be exactly what I needed.” With the unwavering support of the Melamdim and Mashpiam, he found himself excelling beyond his expectations.
Another Talmid painted a vivid metaphor for his experience. He compared life in Yeshiva to driving a car—he was in control of the wheel, but always had a “backup driver” in the form of devoted Rebbeim, Shluchim and Mashpiam, ensuring he stayed on the right path.
Rabbi Uriel Vigler, a parent of one of the graduates, expressed deep appreciation for how the Yeshiva had transformed his son—academically, spiritually, and personally.
Also addressing the crowd was Rabbi Vigler, founder of Yeshivas Mayan Torah, who reflected on the Yeshiva’s beginnings. He recalled how just three years ago, it was only a vision. Through miracles, hard work, and the Brachos of the Rebbe, that vision became a thriving reality.
The event also served as a time to recognize and thank those who helped make the Yeshiva’s success possible: Menahel, Rabbi Nachum Labkowski, dedicated Melamdim, Mashpiam, Eltera Bochurim, and the devoted Shluchim.
Yeshivas Mayan Torah has quickly earned a place among the top Moisdos in the Chabad Yeshiva network. The accomplishments of this first graduating class speak volumes—these young men not only excelled in their Torah learning but were also accepted into some of the most prestigious yeshivos around the world.
As the graduates move forward, they carry with them not just the knowledge and skills gained, but also the warmth, hadracha, and inspiration that defined their years at Yeshivas Mayan Torah—a true testimony to the Yeshiva’s mission and success.
