Pinchas ‘Pinto’ Greenberg, a longtime Crown Heights resident and a well known figure in 770, passed away Shabbos morning. He was 59 years old.
This past Sukkos he experienced a medical condition and was taken to the hospital. He was in the coma since then, with many davening for his recovery.
He is survived by his siblings Mrs. Shifra Goldstein – Spain, Mrs. Chaya Yakobovitch – Tzfas, Mrs. Malka Touger – Yerushalayim, Mrs. Tema Shapiro – Eretz Yisroel, Rabbi Avrohom Leib Greenberg – Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Tzippora Vogel – Crown Heights, R’ Yisroel Greenberg – Crown Heights, Mrs. Miriam Kalmanson – France and R’ Mendy Greenberg – Crown Heights.
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Sunday, leaving from Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 1 pm and passing 770 at 1:45 pm.
BDE. To all the Greenbergs- I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother Pinchas. He was beyond an amazing tzadik. He will be missed by all.
