Congressman Max Rose puts on tefillin on full display at a Poway solidarity event organized by Chabad of Staten Island.
Over 100 people gathered in pouring rain to show their support for Chabad of Poway. The event was attended by various politicians and representatives from a broad range of Jewish and non-Jewish organizations on Staten Island.
Congressman Max Rose of Staten Island and South Brooklyn spoke at the event and put on tefilin with Rabbi Mendy Katzman of Chabad of North Shore. The congressman had attended the Chabad shul this past Shabbos as part of the #ShareShabbat campaign.
