As the number of new coronavirus cases in Israel continues to decline, Assuta Medical Center in Ashdod announced that it has closed its coronavirus ward due to a lack of patients.
There are 15,946 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Israel as of Thursday, with 105 in serious condition, of whom 82 are ventilated. Israel has recorded 222 fatalities due to the coronavirus. A total of 8,561 Israelis have recovered from the virus.
Israel continued to lift restrictions on Thursday, with limits on exercise, sports and malls being loosened.
