Shluchim Office Recognizes Teachers for Their Special Role

With the new school year approaching, the Hebrew division of the Shluchim Online School held in-person events for staff on the theme of “Uplifting Us,” focusing on how the Rebbe gives Chayus to those involved in this special mission of chinuch.

As the new school year approaches, Bet Sefer Net, the Hebrew-speaking division of the Nigri Shluchim Online School of the Shluchim Office hosted in-person events for their staff to get together and prepare for the new year ahead.

The teachers and staff were excited to meet up together in Israel, for even though they teach at the same school many of them live far away from each other. The events featured empowering workshops and speakers as well as opportunities for the educators to brainstorm and connect with their peers.

The men’s event included a tour in the city of Tzipori, an ancient city where the Mishna was signed by Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi and a group discussion covering preparing for the new year, class policies, relationships with the parents and students and teaching virtually.

The highlight of the women’s program was lecture by educational consultant Mrs. Yehudit Cohen who addressed the program’s theme “Uplifting Us”, focusing on how the Rebbe chose and gives Chayus to those involved in this special mission to give Chinuch to the Rebbe’s Shluchim.

“It was beautiful to finally have all the staff together and to start the year off on an inspirational note,” shared Bet Sefer Net principal Mrs. Chavie Kastel. “The power in the room of all the staff connecting, discussing and uplifting each other was truly moving.”

The teachers and staff got to discuss the innovations and highlights from last year and their plans for the coming year. Before leaving, they each received a special gift of a picture of the Rebbe with a special quote that will remind every teacher every morning that “’אשרי חלקה שנבחרה לעסוק בחינוך’.
