TorahChinuch.com’s Online Cheder builds up each talmid or talmida with a complete Chinuch Al Taharas HaKodesh.

The boys’ school teaches Gemara through vivid lessons that not only help the talmid understand the concepts but also instill in them an interest in the Gemara, which is key for building skills and wanting to understand.  Halacha is taught in depth and with discussions.  Tanach is taught in a way that instills key lessons and yiras shomayim.

The goal of the cheder is that students will grow up to want to learn on their own and to be interested in advancing in Torah and in living a true Torah life.  Sippurei Tzadikim are included in the curriculum so that students have a living example and guidance on how to live life (the Frierdiker Rebbe’s Sefer HaZichronos teaches valuable lessons on how we should act in any circumstance).  Halacha is taught and discussed in detail.  Gemara is taught with real-life examples, explanations and discussion of key concepts, as well as crucial skill-building through reading inside and memorizing vocabulary.  Discussions and games make the day interesting and meaningful and show students that they are able to put in full hours and enjoy Torah throughout the entire time.

The Cheder is now entering its 7^th year.  If your child asks great questions and is bored in their current setting, see if this can be meaningful and change how they think about learning.  On the other hand, if your child is struggling and not being given what they need in order to learn and to like learning, then our program works hard to do this.  Classes are small and discussion is key.   We are happy to take the most advanced student and meet their needs and to take those who are struggling and meet their needs just as well.

Another aspect of our cheder is that we charge less than the others while offering more hours and more explanation.  This is because although we must pay our bills, we want chinuch to be accessible to everyone.  Even with our low tuition, if a parent is struggling, we work with them to find them support to help them cover their part.    

Boys classes have generally been from ages 10-15.  The girls’ classes currently run from ages 5-9.  We are glad to make more classes based on the needs of students.
