With the Governor of New York dragging his feet on deciding whether overnight camps many children are unsure what they will be doing for the summer. To fill the immense need, Oholei Torah and Lubavitch Yeshiva schools teamed up to rent a campsite in Pennsylvania where they will be opening overnight camp for boys this summer.
The camp will be situated in Oxford, Pennsylvania, approximately three hours from Crown Heights and will be geared for boys in grade 5 through Mesivta. The grounds, which can host 500 boys, include basketball courts, golf courses, lakes, pools, adventure courses, laser tag, Go Karts and much more.
The camp will be run by the head staff of CGI Montreal, which is not allowed to open for the summer. The camp directors will be Rabbi Yisroel Levertov and Rabbi Yisroel Cohen.
The directors informed parents that all bochurim enrolled in YKK, Oholei Torah’s summer program in upstate New York, will automatically be enrolled to this camp.
