Oholei Torah’s Pre-1A and 1st-grade classes gathered together today to mark Yud Tes Kislev with their very own farbrengen.
The classes gathered in the lunchroom and were served a festive yom tov seudah as per Chabad custom. During the meal, the children heard the story of the Alter Rebbe’s imprisonment and release retold by master storyteller Shmuly Zalmanov.
Following the story, the lunchroom boomed with the sound of hundreds of children singing “Podo B’shalom”, Daled Bavos, and other niggunim connected to Yud Tes Kislev. The singing was accompanied by Rabbi Yossi Goldstein, himself a Pre-1A rebbi, on the keyboard.
