Oholei Torah is proud to conclude the crowdfunding phase of its Shivim Shana Campaign marking seventy years of Chinuch and impact with an outpouring of support from across the community.
With deep gratitude we thank each and every donor who participated. A remarkable 2,192 donors came together to show their belief in the mission of Oholei Torah. Every gift large and small played a meaningful role in this historic effort.
We extend special thanks to the many supporters who joined the Shivim Shekel initiative, committing to $70 a month and especially those who committed to 10 months elevating that commitment to $700 total, a powerful expression of partnership in honor of Shivim Shana and a testament to their dedication to the continued commitment to the Yeshiva and its day to day impact.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to the visionary donors who generously contributed significant gifts outside of the crowdfunding framework in honor of Shivim Shana. Their foresight and partnership are strengthening the Yeshiva today and helping lay a strong foundation for the future, placing them among a select group committed to growth and excellence.
The campaign prize winners were drawn on 24 Teves at 12:00 AM, and results have been posted beneath each prize listing on the campaign website at OTachlis.org.
Although the main auction has concluded the campaign is still very much alive. Supporters can continue to participate by purchasing tickets for the two Grand Prizes
• $18,000 Cash Prize
• Car or Minivan Lease ($12,000 value or take $10,000 cash home)
The Grand Prize drawing will take place on Daled Tammuz.
During the week of Oholei Torah’s Shivim Shana birthday, the Yeshiva commemorated the milestone with seven impactful events honoring seventy years of Chinuch and growth. These gatherings were meaningful and successful, bringing together talmidim, staff, parents, alumni, and the broader community in a shared celebration of unity and purpose. The week powerfully reflected the strength, vitality, and enduring spirit that continue to define Oholei Torah.
As part of the ongoing Shivim Shana celebration the Seven Rebbe Letters series continues to inspire. The fourth letter is now live and new letters will be released weekly for a total of seven weeks בעזרת ה׳ at OholeiTorah.com/7Letters.
Our talmidim are also actively participating in this milestone year having taken on seven hachlatos for seven days, reflecting the spirit of growth and commitment that defines Oholei Torah.
Looking ahead, we are excited to soon launch a Mishnayos Baal Peh initiative with an ambitious goal of two times seventy thousand lines of Mishnayon and Tanya, totaling 280,000 lines of Baal Peh, to be learned and memorized in honor of Shivim Shana.
Seventy years in we continue to celebrate not only the past but the living vibrant future of Torah education. Thank you for being our partners in this journey.
