Oholei Torah 8th Grade Publishes Their Own Kovetz Ha’oros

In honor of Gimmel Tammuz, the eighth grade class of Oholei Torah created their very own kovetz ha’oros, with 107 pages of Torah insights and essays that they authored. “This may very well be the ‘youngest’ kovetz ha’oros every printed,” principal Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Wilhelm told Anash.org.

In honor of Gimmel Tammuz, when many yeshivos issue publications containing essays on various Torah topics, the eighth grade class of Oholei Torah created their very own kovetz ha’oros, with 107 pages of Torah insights and essays that they authored.

  1. In winter 5748 ‘8th grade’ oholei Torah (
    Was Inspired by then melamed rabbi feitel levin, to listen to the rebbe’s farbrengen. The Rebbe mentioned something about children writing haoros too.
    At that point in oholei Torah ‘8th grade was mostly 12 yr olds and still included several11 yr olds.
    they put out three kovtzei heoros. 1st all on their own. 2nd and third assisted only with funding by rabbi Levi yitzchok Shapiro o”h (then the only assistant principal of school)
