Preschool: A Special Trip to the Rebbe’s House

The youngest talmidim embarked on a memorable trip to the Rebbe’s house, where they gave tzedaka and even saw the rebbetzin’s oven! They then enjoyed live music, singing, dancing, and l’chaim on grape juice. The children were delighted with Car Lollipop treats, making it a joyous occasion to remember.

Cheder (Pre1A – 7th Grade): Special Programs and Heartwarming Connection

The Pre1A talmidim had a unique celebration with their respective rebbeim in the homes of their classmates. Grades 1-2 participated in a festive seuda, where they were honored to hear an inspiring message from Rabbi Mendy Schanowitz, a Shliach in Manhattan. The talmidim of grades 3-5 gathered for a beautiful seuda in the Yeshiva’s ballroom, featuring a speech from Rabbi Levi Banon, a Shliach to Morocco, which imparted valuable lessons on the meaning of Rosh Chodesh Kislev. Grades 6-7 enjoyed a farbrengen and seuda with Rabbi Rodal from Oholei Torah’s Beis Medrash. Throughout all these programs, the students experienced a true Yom Tov atmosphere, with lively music, singing, and dancing that reflected the joyous spirit of Rosh Chodesh Kislev.

Mechina: A Visit from Rabbi Konikov and Live Music

The Mechina talmidim were treated to a special farbrengen with Rabbi Tzvi Konikov from Satellite Beach. The event was highlighted by live music, with Moshe Sabag on the keyboard and Levi Sason on the drums, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. The farbrengen was followed by a delicious BBQ, further adding to the spirit of celebration.

Mesivta: Farbrengens and a Seuda with Prominent Speakers

The Mesivta Bochurim enjoyed a weekend full of farbrengens and inspiring speeches. Prominent speakers, including Rabbi Boruch Hecht, Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, and Rabbi Shmuel Lew, shared their wisdom with the bochurim. The farbrengens took place both at the Yeshiva and at the homes of the talmidim, as well as in 770. A general farbrengen, followed by a seuda with dancing, concluded the celebrations. The bochurim davened in 770 on Monday morning, further connecting to the spiritual essence of Rosh Chodesh Kislev.

Beis Medrash: A Night of Inspiration and Lively Dancing

The Beis Medrash Bochurim marked Rosh Chodesh Kislev with a grand farbrengen that began at 8:00 PM and continued until 4:00 AM. Over 400 bachurim from all shiurim gathered for an inspiring evening. Reb Fitche Pevzner, a mashpia in Oholei Torah, was the main speaker, with additional Divrei Torah from Reb Nachman Schapiro and Reb Sholom Charitonov. The farbrengen was filled with lively dancing, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration that lasted into the early morning hours.

Oholei Torah’s Rosh Chodesh Kislev celebrations brought together talmidim and mechanchim, from every division, creating an atmosphere of simcha, acdus, and inspiration. Each program, from the youngest preschoolers to the Beis Medrash bochurim, captured the essence of this chassidishe yomtov.
