The entire Oholei Torah Beis Medrash, including Shiur Aleph and Beis led by Rabbi Nissi Deitch and Shiur Daled led by Rabbi Choni Leshes, gathered for a memorable Shabbaton on Shabbos Parshas Vayera. The weekend began with a delicious toameha and culminated in a beautiful melave malka, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.

This Shabbaton provided the bochurim with a rare opportunity to bond with one another and with the dedicated staff and mashpi’im who joined in the experience. Through farbrengens, Q&As, and meaningful discussions, the talmidim set personal goals for the year ahead, making the weekend both uplifting and transformative.

The heartfelt appreciation of the parents of one of the bochurim highlighted the significance of the event:

“Executing such a Shabbaton requires effort, hard work, and mostly, a desire to want to do it for the Bochurim. Our son regaled us with all the details. He repeated that the bochurim felt so treated and were excited with all of it. From the treats in their rooms, complete with a typed-up schedule, to the special, beautiful food prepared b’harchava, every detail showed care and thoughtfulness.

“The most important part, though, was the presence of the mashpi’im, rebbeim, and school administration, all actively engaging with the boys, delivering prepared droshos, and simply being with them. The gift of Presence is the greatest present we can give our kids. And they felt that this past Shabbos. Thank you for everything that is done behind the scenes to help the bochurim continue to flourish and grow in a way the Rebbe would be proud of.”

With Crown Heights bustling from the 2,000 Pegisha students hosted in Oholei Torah, this Shabbos was the perfect opportunity to offer the talmidim an enriching and spiritually uplifting experience. Thank you to Chabad on Campus International for co-sponsoring the Shabbaton.

A special thank you goes to Levi Rabin, Yisroel Cohen and the Oholei Torah hanholo for their collaborative efforts in making this Shabbaton a resounding success. Their dedication ensured that the Shabbos was not only meaningful but also memorable for all involved, offering the talmidim a spiritually enriching experience that will carry them through the months ahead.
