Oholei Torah Ballroom Announces Wedding Package
After months of planning, Oholei Torah Ballroom has launched a curated, all-inclusive wedding package to make beautiful, dignified, and tasteful weddings more attainable, without the excessive financial strain that so many families experience.
We are pleased to share an important community initiative that Oholei Torah is proud to be part of, one that speaks directly to the needs of our community.
After months of thoughtful planning and discussion, Oholei Torah has partnered with Keren HaChomesh to launch a curated, all-inclusive wedding package at the Oholei Torah Ballroom. The goal of this initiative is to make beautiful, dignified, and tasteful weddings more attainable, without the excessive financial strain that so many families experience.
Under this new framework, a full wedding package will be available at a single flat price of $29,500 ($14,750 a side), covering the hall and a carefully selected roster of top-tier vendors. The package is designed around the average size of a wedding at Oholei Torah, with seating for 275 guests, and options to accommodate larger events if needed.
The package includes catering by Table One Catering, floral design by either Chanie Greenbaum Events or Debby Event Design, photography by CJ Studios, and a choice of leading musicians including Choni Milecki, Mendy Kraus, Yossi Cohen, and Fitche Benshimon. If desired, the services of Mrs. Devorah Benjamin as a wedding planner to guide and keep the event running smoothly are also included. Additional details will be shared by 15 Shevat.
After extensive conversations with Crown Heights families, the organizers recognized that maintaining high standards while achieving affordability requires a curated approach and economies of scale. By working with a select group of trusted vendors, costs can be reduced while preserving quality and elegance.
This initiative is intended to serve the Crown Heights community, Shluchim and Chabad families, as well as families from the broader Anash community, including those from outside Crown Heights. The objective is to allow families to celebrate weddings with dignity and beauty, without accumulating overwhelming debt.
The Oholei Torah ballroom has always been intended as a service to the community. The Rebbe emphasized the importance of Crown Heights being a place where chasunahs and all simchos are celebrated, with the assurance of כאן צוה ה׳ את הברכה. Oholei Torah is proud to be an active partner in an initiative that helps ease financial pressure while maintaining the dignity, beauty, and quality of every simcha, and we are fully committed to seeing it succeed Bez”H.
Keren HaChomesh, a fund established by the Rebbe and administered by Machne Israel, will assume operational responsibility for the ballroom and oversee all wedding bookings.
The Oholei Torah Ballroom will remain available for families who wish to book the hall independently and select their own vendors, subject to venue standards and terms. The purpose of this initiative is to expand options, not to limit them.
The initiative will take effect beginning Rosh Chodesh Sivan. A dedicated booking website is scheduled to launch in February. In the interim, bookings for events taking place on or after Rosh Chodesh Sivan should be submitted via email to [email protected].
We are grateful for the opportunity to help advance a meaningful solution that strengthens our community and supports families at such an important moment in their lives.
