Oholei Torah Appoints New Leadership for Upcoming Year

Oholei Torah has appointed Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig, who has served as menahel of 6th and 7th grades for the past 14 years, as the menahel klali who will oversee the running of the entire school.

Rabbi Mendel Blau, the Roish Moissed of Oholei Torah, has recently announced the promotion of Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig from menahel of 6th and 7th grade, to the general menahel of the whole school. Rabbi Lustig has run the 6th and 7th grade program with wisdom and warmth for the past fourteen years, and will be a great addition to the rest of the school.

“Rabbi Lustig, with his 15+ years of chinuch experience, will step into the pivotal role of Menahel K’lali and integrator of our leadership team,” shared Rabbi Blau. “He will focus on uniting our key departments, ensuring that our chinuch and administrative functions work seamlessly together, pushing forward in unison to reach our vision and goals.

“Rabbi Lustig will maintain his focus on chinuch, participating in principal team meetings and enhancing the chinuch experience, while expanding his responsibilities to include the integration and coordination of our leadership team. His extensive chinuch experience and dedication make him ideal for this expanded role, integrating our educational efforts with our administrative and operational needs, all with the one goal in mind: טובת התלמידים – the benefit of our students.”

Taking the place as the menahel for the 6th and 7th grade program, is Rabbi Eli Simpson, a highly regarded and experienced maggid shiur for many years.

“Rabbi Simpson will be the new Menahel and leader of Grades 6 and 7. With his extensive
experience in chinuch, Rabbi Simpson has served as a highly regarded Maggid Shiur, instilling a love for learning and skill-building in his Talmidim. He also brings significant experience in leading teams of Mechanchim with his background in running large summer programs,” said Rabbi Blau.

Oholei Torah is looking forward to a great new year with the restructuring of some of the directing offices, and continues to strive to best mechanech their students.
