In honor of Hey Teves, the Nyack Yeshiva held a grand Seforim sale of Niglah and Chassidus, attracting bochurim from local poilishe yeshivos, as well as Lubavitch bochurim from the Westchester, Monsey, and Pomona yeshivos joining to purchase seforim.
In honor of Hei Teves, the Lubavitch Yeshiva of Nyack hosted an impressive seforim sale that drew a large crowd of Yidden from the surrounding area. Among the attendees were bochurim from various chassidishe yeshivos in the region, who came to purchase seforim on Chassidus and Nigleh in large quantities.
Various Lubavitch yeshivos in the area attended as well, included the Westchester Mesivta, Monsey Mesivta, and Pomona Mesivta.
Rabbi Shmuel Pevzner, who heads the distribution of the Rebbeim’s seforim to frum communities, set up a large selection of Kehos seforim, as well as English-language works, and children’s books.
Additionally, a wide variety of seforim from Zichron Aharon publications and other notable publishers was set up.
This event truly fulfilled the Rebbe’s directive to mark Hey Teves with the purchase of seforim, spreading Torah and Chassidus in a tangible way.
A farbrengen in honor of Hei Teves was led by Rabbi Moshe Gourarie, rov of the Beis Levi Yitzchok shul of Pomona and the head of Mosdos Zichron Shmuel, who inspired the bochurim on the themes of the day.
