The community of Postville, Iowa, marked the completion of Rambam with a grand Siyum celebration bringing together all factions of the quaint community.
The guest speaker was Harav Gedalia Oberlander Rov of Heichel Menachem Monsey, NY. He has joined by Harav Shlomo Segal, Dayan in the Crown Heights Beis Din, and Rabbi Menachem Gerlitzky, gabbai of 770.
Harav Oberlander spoke inspiring words about the need for each participant to ‘upgrade’ their Rambam study. If one was learning one perek a day until now, he should begin studying 3. For those already learning 3 preokim, they should learn more in depth.
