As Chassidim around the world prepare for the upcoming Yud-Aleph Nissan, the Rebbe’s 120th birthday, the Vaad Hatmimim is pleased to present a new weekly publication: “Mein Tog” – “My Day”.
In recent days Chabad institutions and communities world-wide have seen an added excitement as Chassidim prepare for the Rebbe’s approaching 120th birthday on Yud-Aleph Nissan. From individual gifts to communal establishments, Chassidim of all ages and backgrounds are preparing an appropriate gift.
In the past few weeks, the Vaad Hatmimim and A Chassidisher Derher magazine have begun publishing a weekly dose of bite-sized sichos, stories and anecdotes relating to some central Yud-Aleph Nissan themes, including giving the Rebbe a “Matana” (a gift), traveling to New York to spend Yud-Aleph Nissan in the Rebbe’s presence, the inner meaning of the Rebbe’s birthday and more.
The aim of this publication is to answer the burning question that Chassidim are no doubt asking themselves: “How can I properly prepare myself for Yud-Aleph Nissan, a day the Rebbe referred to as ‘my day’ – ‘Meiner A Tog’?”
The publication has been printed in American Yeshivos and distributed in Crown Heights shuls in recent weeks, and will continue to appear until Yud-Aleph Nissan.
