A collection of new Teshuros recently distributed at a number of weddings contains a treasure trove of new information, letters of the Rebbe, Chassidic stories and Lubavitch history.
One unique teshura was distributed at the wedding of Reuven Kaminezki of Dnipro, Ukraine and Esther Gourevitch of Lyon, France about the history of the well-known Chassidic town of Klimovitch. Both the Chosson and the kalla are descendants of Klimovitch Chassidim.
The town of Klimovitch in White Russia was known for its vibrant Chassidic community whose Chassidic roots date back to the time of the Alter Rebbe. The teshura contains 50 pages of history, stories, and first-person testimony about life in this Chasidic shtetl.
At the wedding of Menachem Wolf of Melbourne, Australia and Esther Miriam Golomb of Sheffield, England a new teshura was distributed containing many English letters of the Rebbe.
These letters were written to R’ Don Wolf, father of the Choson, letters of the Rebbe to Rabbi Laibl Wolf, uncle of the Choson, and letters of the Rebbe to Rabbi Moshe Yosef Golomb, grandfather of the Kallah. Most of these letters are being shared publicly for the first time.
A tehushra from the wedding of Asher Zelig and Chaya Mushka Brand contains a collection of letters from the Frierdike Rebbe’s personal secretary and gabbai Reb Chatche Feigin, regarding the wedding of Rebbetzin Shaindel, youngest daughter of the Frierdiker Rebbe.
At the wedding of Yisroel and Chana Blau a teshura was distributed containing the Rebbe’s edits on the sicha from Chai Elul 5712 regarding the role of a bochur in yeshiva during the months of Elul and Tishrei. It also contains edits of the Rebbe on Sefer Hatoldos of the Alter Rebbe.
At the wedding of Sholom Dovber and Shterna Sara Ehrentrei a teshura was distributed with never seen before letters of the Rebbe to Rabbi Yaakov Minsky, a veteran mechanech in Eretz Yisroel who received many letters and personal guidance from the Rebbe during his decades in chinuch.
