The new Shluchim have been appointed by Chabad Lubavitch of Michigan, and the Grossbaums will bring Chabad to this growing community.
Waterford, located in the heart of Oakland County, Michigan, is a suburban city known for its beautiful lakes, parks, and family-friendly atmosphere. While the city is home to many Jewish families, there has never been a dedicated Jewish institution in the area. Today the Grossbaums plan to change that. They aim to create a vibrant Chabad House where local Jews can connect, learn, and grow in their Yiddishkeit.
Thirty years after Gimmel Tammuz, yet another young couple is inspired to embark on Shlichus, answering the Rebbe’s call to reach every Jew, no matter where they may be. The Rebbe’s message for everyone to get up and go on Shlichus to strengthen Yiddishkeit and inspire others to grow in Torah and Mitzvos is as relevant as ever. The Grossbaums are honored to join the ranks of the Rebbe’s Shluchim.
Help the Grossbaums ignite Jewish life in Waterford! With your support, the Grossbaums can bring Jewish life to Waterford and build a welcoming space for the community.
