New Shluchim to Rancho Mirage, California
As the Coachella Valley sees an influx of young Jewish families and with a Disney-themed community rising across from Chabad, Rabbi Sholom and Sarale Posner are joining Chabad of Rancho Mirage as Youth Directors.
Chabad of Rancho Mirage is excited to welcome Rabbi Sholom & Sarale Posner as Youth Directors.
We are delighted to announce that Rabbi Sholom and Sarale Posner (nee Bergstein) are joining the devoted team at Chabad of Rancho Mirage.
Under the direction of Rabbi Shimon and Chaya Posner, together with Rabbi Benny and Chani Lew, Chabad of Rancho Mirage has grown into a vibrant oasis of Jewish life.
Although often seen as an older community, the Coachella Valley has seen an uptick in young Jewish families these past couple of years, and CKids attendance has grown by 40%. With many family residences being built in the area, including “Storyliving by Disney -Cotino” right across the street from Chabad, this number is sure to grow. The time has come for renewed energy and focus to give our youth the undivided attention they need and deserve.
Rabbi Sholom is a native of Rancho Mirage and has been a part of the vital work of Chabad since an early age.
Sarale also comes from a shlichus background, growing up helping her parents in Chabad of Oak Park, IL.
They both come with a shared passion for Jewish education, outreach, and warm authentic connection. Their energy and experience will guide them in leading our Hebrew School, camp, CTeen, and Kosher Food Club, expanding programming and reaching out to more Jewish families.
We invite you to partner with us to ensure their smooth beginning and lasting success. Together we can empower the Jewish youth of the Coachella Valley to grow in Torah, Mitzvot, and proud Jewish identity.
The Jewish community of Rancho Mirage would be grateful to you for partnering with us at: chabadrm.com/youth
