Rabbi Mendel and Chaya Denburg (nee Barber), together with their daughter Leah, are moving to establish a new Chabad House in the city of Margate, Florida.

Situated in busy South Florida, Margate has seen much growth in the last ten years. And with that, there is a growing need for a full time Chabad House to service the needs of all the Jewish residents. Whether it is a Friday Night Dinner, a Shabbos service, a Torah Class, or just a listening ear and a helping hand, the Denburgs are moving to join the Rebbe’s army of Shluchim to do just that.

Rabbi Mendel Denburg was born and grew up in nearby Coral Springs, Fl, from where his parents started Chabad of Coral Springs and Lubavitch Hebrew Academy. He has much experience in outreach and interacting with people of all ages, having studied in yeshivos both in America and Eretz Yisroel.

Chaya Denburg (nee Barber), was born and raised in Crown Heights. Growing up in an open home and a constant stream of guests, and having spent summers in C-kids and C-teen programs, she is very excited to take her passion of helping and inspiring other Jews into her new Shlichus in Margate.

Under Rabbi Yossi Biston of Chabad of North Broward and South Palm Beach, and along with Rabbi Chezkie Unsdorfer of Chabad Outreach of Margate, IY”H the new Chabad House in Margate will already be open in time for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur!

As their moving truck pulled up to unload, they already met two yidden, who b’hashgacha pratis also recently moved and are their neighbors.
