New Shluchim to Fair Oaks, California

Rabbi Levi and Chana Reizes are planning their move to Fair Oaks, California, a suburb of Sacramento, where their new Chabad center will bring Yiddishkeit to the local Jewish population.

Rabbi Levi and Chana Reizes (nee Vorst) and their daughter Chaya Mushka are moving to Fair Oaks, California, where they will open a new Chabad center, bringing Yiddishkeit to the local population.

While big cities have flourishing Jewish communities, there are many Jews living in small towns searching for meaning with nowhere to turn.

Fair Oaks, California, a suburb of Sacramento, is one of them.

A natural, lush foliage town with rolling streets and canopies of trees, Fair Oaks is a semi-rural neighborhood with damp, mild winters and hot, dry summers.

“With Hashem’s help we hope to find each and every Jew in Fair Oaks and bring them back home,” Rabbi Reizes said. “Our plan is to IYH build a Chabad center, where every Jew will feel at home and be proud of their Jewish identity and where every Jew can grow both physically and spiritually.”

Originally from Crown Heights and France respectively, Rabbi Levi and Chana look forward to building a bright Jewish future in Fair Oaks, California.
