New Search and Rescue Vehicle to Serve Rockland County

A new state-of-the-art Mobile Command Unit with a rugged build and sophisticated technology to help recover people lost in the woods was unveiled by Matzil Search and Rescue at Rockland County National Night Out.

This afternoon, Matzil Search and Rescue proudly unveiled its new state-of-the-art Mobile Command Unit during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Rockland County National Night Out for First Responders. The event marked the official debut of the Incident Command Unit (IC-1), a sophisticated piece of equipment designed to elevate the capabilities of Matzil’s response teams.

The IC-1 Mobile Command Unit represents a significant advancement in emergency response technology, reflecting Matzil’s unwavering commitment to excellence in Search and Rescue operations. Key features of this cutting-edge unit include:

– Starlink Mobile Internet: This satellite-based internet system provides uninterrupted communication and data transmission, even in the most remote and challenging environments.
