New Podcast is Your Chavrusa for Chassidus Every Day

Rabbi Yonah Pruss AH lived with the Rebbe’s maamorim, and he constantly encouraged others to learn Chassidus daily. Now, his daily shiurim are being uploaded as podcasts so that people can easily learn wherever they are.

As we approach Gimmel Tammuz, we are all thinking of ways to deepen our connection with the Rebbe.

Possibly the most essential way to connect to the Rebbe is by learning his Torah. This was always true, how much more so now, when we cannot see our Rebbe.

Rabbi Yonah Pruss OB”M, lived by this message. He would constantly Farbreng and encourage people to take it upon themselves to learn Chassidus every day, even if it was only for five minutes.

One Shabbos afternoon, at a farbrengen in the Kingsley Way shul in Hampstead Garden Suburb London, a resolution was made to study the Rebbe’s Maamarim.

The idea was to start at the very beginning, from the first Maamar the Rebbe said upon accepting the mantle of leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch on the 10th Shvat, 5711, and to continue on in chronological order.

The Shiurim, held usually daily before Shachris, were recorded live and were delivered by Rabbi Yonah Pruss, and published at the time on a user-friendly website.

The Shiurim are in English and average 20 minutes a Shiur, making the goal of learning Chassidus every day easily accessible to accomplish.

So whether you want to listen in your car on the way to work, or at home, these shiurim provide you with a Chavrusa to learn with you some Chassidus every day.

To honor his legacy, and to continue his mission to inspire Chassidim and all Jews to learn the Rebbe’s Torah, we are publishing these shiurim on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, with the idea to inspire people to learn Chassidus every day.

Although originally published in chronological order, as the Shiurim were given, we will be publishing the Maamarim in accordance with the season, so that they are topical to the current time of year.

Podcasts will follow the season, but all the Shiurim remain available on the original website, with the text of the Maamar accompanying each Shiur to make it easy to follow along.

We Daven that through strengthening our bond with the Rebbe, we should be Zoche to hear new Maamarim b’mheria b’yameinu Amen.
