A performance by singers Barak Grossberg and Simche Friedman covers 13 replicas of 770 across Eretz Yisroel, including Kfar Chabad, Yerushalayim, Sderot, Migdal Haemek, Afula, and more.

The two artists frequently collaborated on stage in Kfar Chabad, but an unexpected encounter on Shabbos in Lod led to their first official joint project. This collaboration resulted in a refreshing rendition of the well-known niggun, known simply as Niggun Simcha 149. The musical production was overseen by the rising producer, Effi Shiener, known for his work with the popular “Tzama” project.

For this project, Barak and Simcha wrote lyrics that express faith and trust in Hashem in these times—highlighting that Hashem always protects us from our enemies and davening for the true and complete geulah.

The quality music video, directed and scripted by Eyal Zion, features many replicas of the Rebbe’s shul in New York. The most well-known replica is in Kfar Chabad, built according to the Rebbe’s directive in 1986.

The duo travels across the country from south to north, visiting these replicas. One notable location is the 770 building in Sderot, which was hit by rockets from Gaza during the war. This building serves as the local Chabad House, led by Rabbi Moshe Ze’ev Pizem, who survived the Hamas attack on Simchas Torah on October 7. Throughout the video, Simcha and Barak bring joy to soldiers stationed in the area.

  1. Awesome! There are still a couple more that didn’t feature in the video – Zichron Yaakov and Beitar Illit. Maybe others.
