New Issue of ‘Bnei Heichala’ Journal Released for 11 Nissan

The newest issue of Bnei Heichala covers fascinating topics related to the Rebbe and Pesach, including Yetzias Mitzrayim in the Rebbe’s thought, the Tzemach Tzedek’s notes on Likutei Torah, a unique farbrengen with Reb Yoel Kahan, and an in-depth interview with Los Angeles Rosh Yeshiva, Harav Ezra Schochet.

As Chassidim around the world marked Yud-Alef Nissan, a new edition of the Chassidus journal Bnei Heichala was released, offering a rich collection of in-depth learning, guidance, and Chassidishe insight centered on the Rebbe and the month of Geulah.

The sixth issue of Bnei Heichala is dedicated to the teachings and avodah of the Rebbe, whose birthday falls on Yud-Alef Nissan, and the Tzemach Tzedek, whose yahrtzeit is on Yud-Gimmel Nissan.

Among the highlights of the new issue:

  • Dvar Malchus—a sicha of the Rebbe on Kapitel 125.
  • In-depth shiurim in Maseches Bava Kama, studied this year in Tomchei Temimim, by Rabbi Moshe Havlin and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Farkash.
  • A comprehensive analysis of Yetzias Mitzrayim in the Rebbe’s teachings, by Rabbi Elimelech Raichik.
  • A fresh exploration of the “Nesiv HaTachlis” in Tanya, charting the path of the beinoni, by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kaplan.
  • A wide-ranging and practical guidance shiur from Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Ezra Shochet, outlining a clear path for bochurim to grow as true lamdonim, including a detailed example of precise learning drawn from the Alter Rebbe’s words on Sefiras HaOmer.

Marking the 160th yahrtzeit of the Tzemach Tzedek, the journal also includes a fascinating historical and analytical overview of his glosses on Likkutei Torah, shedding light on their development and publication.

In the popular “Yafeh Yerushaseinu” section, Rabbi Asher Farkash presents a rich overview of Acharon Shel Pesach—long cherished as the Yom Tov of temimim—exploring its unique giluyim, the development of Moshiach’s Seudah, and personal memories from the Rebbe.

The issue further features a record of a farbrengen with the renowned chozer, Reb Yoel Kahan, following Yud-Alef Nissan 5749, capturing the profound joy and elevation of Chassidim on this special day and the Rebbe’s call of “Ana nasiv malka.”

Additional sections include a historical-halachic journey through the “Gezeiras Hamalbushim” in Russia written by Rabbi Hillel Anikster, and a halachic analysis of the korban Pesach as a communal offering, by Rabbi Dovid Olidort, based on a haoro of the Rebbe in Likkutei Sichos. The issue concludes with the popular “Iyunim B’Likkutei Sichos,” continuing a detailed study of Parshas Shemos based on the teachings of Reb Yoel Kahan.

The new issue is now available in select Crown Heights stores: Kehot, Kahan’s, Judaica World, Merkaz Stam, Hamafitz, Empire Kosher, and Sosover Seforim.

The journal can also be ordered online at the new website Bnei-Heichala.com
