Anash of New Haven gathered Sunday night for a farbrengen with Rabbi Yossi Jaffe marking Chof Beis Shevat yahrtzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka.
The farbrengen was arranged by Ohel Yosef Yitzchak and Rabbi Avi Dagan and was led by Rabbi Yossi Jaffe shliach to Guilford, CT who spoke about the mesirus nefesh of Jewish women throughout the ages, beginning with Rochel who wasn’t buried in Maaras Hamachpelah, and why Judaism is determined by the mother.
They were followed by Rabbi Berel Levitin and Rabbi Baruch Sholom Kahn who both shared stories of the Rebbetzin.
