New Guide to the Rebbe’s Haggada Comes in 20 Languages

A new resource, in 20 languages, has been released to help learners of all levels better understand the Rebbe’s Haggada. Through a clear, topic-based set of guided questions, it breaks down the Rebbe’s deep commentary, once hard to fully grasp, into a step-by-step learning experience.

Three years before the Rebbe formally accepted the mantle of leadership, the Rebbe compiled a unique and unprecedented work: Haggadah Shel Pesach: Likutei Ta’amim U’Minhagim. With great precision and care, the Rebbe brought out layers upon layers of meaning in the familiar Hagada text, drawing from both nigleh and chassidus.

Since it was first published, the Rebbe’s Hagada has become a classic, studied every year by Chassidim and scholars. Each line reveals new depth. However, its short and dense style – filled with abbreviations and references to advanced halachic and mystical sources – can make it hard for many to fully understand.

To help with this, a new resource has been released to guide learners of all levels through the Rebbe’s commentary. Building upon earlier efforts, the project presents a structured collection of guided questions, carefully crafted and organized by topic. The questions are arranged in a step-by-step way, allowing both beginners and advanced learners to explore the basics and to dive deeper into the Rebbe’s insights.

The guide is available in multiple languages, making it accessible to every Jew, no matter their background. Each question includes a reference to the exact place in the Hagada, encouraging readers to look inside and learn directly from the Rebbe’s words.

“This project is part of our effort to make Torah- and especially the Rebbe’s Torah – more available to every Jew,” say the organizers. “We welcome feedback, ideas, and corrections to help this continue to grow.”

The questions are available in: Lashon Hakodesh, Yiddish, English, Russian, French, Spanish, Arabic, Ladino, German, Polish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Hungarian, Romanian, Czech, Greek, Turkish, Persian.
