New Chabad House Inaugurated at Long Island Kinus
Dozens of Shluchim from across Long Island came together for a regional Kinus Hashluchim at the new Chabad of South Bay Long Island in East Massapequa. The center, led by Rabbi Yona and Devorah Edelkopf, hosted the gathering as a celebration of its completion and official Chanukas Habayis.

Following the various talks and sessions, shluchim enjoyed a dinner that provided opportunities for networking, sharing experiences, and strengthening connections.
In the event, Rabbi Tuvia Teldon, Head Shliach of Long Island, spoke on the theme “The Times We Live In,” urging shluchim to remain steadfast and proactive in their shlichus.
The event marked the official Chanukas Habayis of the new Chabad House in Massapequa. Now open and fully operational, the center serves Massapequa and nearby communities on Long Island’s South Shore. The shluchim in attendance shared their excitement and admiration for the new facility.
