A new beis medrash equipped with an extensive seforim library, comfortable seating and plenty of space aims to be a home for undisturbed Torah learning for the Toronto community.

The Bais Medrash is located in the heart of the Thornhill community, where most of the local Chabad community lives.

Newly renovated, the beis medrash is a bright and spacious space, equipped with comfortable seating and plenty of room to learn. The Thornhill, Toronto community is thrilled with the opening of the beis medrash

The goal is to have a place of undisturbed limud haTorah, where all boys and men in the community are welcome to learn with a chavrusa, drop in to learn a vort, do homework, or stay for an intense day of learning.

The beis medrash boasts an extensive library of seforim, covering a wide range of topics including both Nigleh and Chassidus. The Otzer Hachochma software will be installed shortly.

There is currently a Yeshivas Bein Hazmanim program running where each bochor can earn up to $300 by learning in the Bais Medrash during their Pesach break.

The beis medrash was opened le’iluei nishman Harav Yechiel Dov Nelken a”h.
