This Wednesday and Thursday, NCFJE will hold Kaporos for families in the the Bais Rivkah Crown Street parking lot. The Kaporos is subsidized by three gracious sponsors.
Every year as Kaporos draws near, the NCFJE looks to help the Crown Heights community keep the important chassidishe minhag of Kaporos. It is a special minhag that is written in the shulchan aruch to help us do proper teshuvah and be sealed for a sweet new year.
It is with the help and graciousness of Bais Rivkah, and Rabbi Sholom Ber Goldstein, that the NCFJE is able to once again offer Kaporos in the Bais Rivkah Crown Street parking lot on both Wednesday October 9th and Thursday October 10th. The use of the Bais Rivka parking lot enables the NCFJE to provide Kaporos to the community in a private space, with a more seamless experience.
Of course, we would also like to thank an anonymous sponsor, Rabbi Dovid Fisher & Mr. Morris Gad who have enabled us to provide subsidized pricing for the Crown Heights community residents.
