The National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education (NCFJE) warmly invites Anash from around the world to participate in a central Yud Shevat Farbrengen, marking one of the most foundational and sacred days on the Chabad calendar.
Yud Shevat will be commemorated with a unique, one-of-a-kind Farbrengen, broadcast live on Chabad.org, enabling Chassidim everywhere to unite in inspiration, hiskashrus, and renewed commitment.
For the Released Time Program, Yud Shevat carries a particularly profound significance being the very first organized outreach initiative established by the Frierdiker Rebbe upon his arrival in America. Over the years, the Rebbe spoke numerous times about the deep and special connection between Released Time and Yud Shevat.
This year’s Farbrengen will feature two exceptional speakers, whose distinct styles together create a powerful experience:
Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, esteemed Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedola of Miami and the Rebbe’s choizer, widely regarded as one of the most sought-after mashpi’im of our time. Rabbi Schapiro is deeply respected for his ability to help Chassidim forge a genuine and living connection to the Rebbe and the inner essence of Chassidus.
Rabbi Yitzchok Schochet, world-renowned speaker and Rabbi of the Mill Hill Synagogue in Southwest London, is known for his rare ability to translate deep philosophical and spiritual ideas into clear, relatable, and inspiring language.
Together, the two farbrengers offer a unique opportunity for every Chossid, regardless of background or style, to gain inspiration, depth, and renewed strength in avodas Hashem.
For more than 85 years, Released Time has educated hundreds of thousands of Jewish children in public schools, introducing them to Yiddishkeit and nurturing their Jewish identity with warmth, pride, and purpose.
Tune in live on Tuesday, Jan. 27, Ohr L’Yud Shevat, at 8:30 PM, on JewishHour.org, and be part of a global Farbrengen dedicated to our Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
