Mrs. Rochel Levin, 97, AH

Mrs. Rochel Levin, a longtime resident of Kfar Chabad, the wife of the renowned Chabad musician, Rabbi Zalman Levin, A”H, and the daughter of the well-known Chassid Rabbi Avraham Pariz, A”H, passed away on Tuesday, 18 Adar, with her Levaya taking place later today on the way to burial on Har Hamenuchos.

Mrs. Rochel Levin, a longtime resident of Kfar Chabad, the wife of the renowned Chabad musician, Rabbi Zalman Levin, A”H, and the daughter of the well-known Chassid Rabbi Avraham Pariz, A”H, passed away on Tuesday, 18 Adar.

She was 97.

When the Frierdiker Rebbe visited Eretz Yisroel, Mrs. Pariz brought her daughters – Pesya Wolf, Chaya Disha Lerer, Rochel Levin, and Gitel Glitzenstein – to see the Rebbe in Petach Tikvah and receive a bracha. The Frierdiker Rebbe gave them all a bracha for arichus yomim, long life. Indeed, the bracha was fulfilled and they all lived a long life: Mrs. Pesya Wolf lived to 101, Mrs. Chaya Disha Lerer to 103, Mrs. Rochel Levin to 97, and yblch”t, Mrs. Gitel Glitzenstein to many more years.

She is survived by her children: R’ Gershon Levin (Kiryat Gat); R’ Yossi Levin (Kfar Chabad); R’ Yankele Levin (Kfar Chabad); Mrs. Bracha Yehuda (Kfar Chabad); Mrs. Freida Bar, Mrs. Sari Soffer, and Mrs. Leah Yisraelovitz (Yerushalayim).

She is also survived by her sister Mrs. Gitel Glitzenstein from Yerushalayim.

The Levayah will take place today, starting from her home in Kfar Chabad and continuing at the Shamgar Funeral Home before the burial on Har Hamenuchos.
