Mrs. Devorah Leah Blau of Crown Heights, who was known for her passion in mivtzoim and teaching the Rebbe’s sichos, passed away.
Mrs. Devorah Leah Blau of Crown Heights, who was known for her passion in mivtzoim and teaching the Rebbe’s sichos, passed away.
She was 63 years old.
Mrs. Blau was known for her warm personality and outreach activities. In addition to being involved in mivtzoim, hachnosas orchim, and N’shei Chabad, she devoted her life to Inyonei Geula Umoshiach.
For over a decade she was dedicated as the primary teacher for the Sichos of Nun Alef and Nun Beis in 770. Her passion for sharing the Rebbe’s message would spread to all those who learned from her.
She is survived by her husband R’ Reuven Blau and her children: Mendel Blau – East Flatbush; Chaya Cheruty – Florida; Rivky Abramson – East Flatbush; Esther Blasenstein – Crown Heights; Mushka Blau– Crown Heights; Yossie Blau – Remsen Village; Shaina Glick – Crown Heights; Shternie Grosh – Crown Heights; Zalman Blau – Crown Heights, Rochelle Blau – Crown Heights; Fraida Grossman – Crown Heights; Moishe Blau – Crown Heights; Dovber Blau – Crown Heights.
She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Malka Sara Kuperman – Crown Heights; her brother R’ Nota Kuperman – Crown Heights; and her sister Hinda Baila Reizes – Crown Heights.
She was predeceased by her brother R’ Avraham Leib Kuperman a”h of Crown Heights.
Mrs. Malka Sara Kuperman, Mrs. Blau’s mother, has not yet been informed of the news. Please be mindful not to share the news with her.
The Levaya will be on Sunday, Yud Daled Cheshvan – October 29th. Shomrei Hadaas at 12:00 pm, 770 1:00 pm, and the Beis Hachayim at 2:00 pm.
Her children will be sitting Shiva at the Blau home, 607 Lefferts Ave. Brooklyn NY, 11203.
