Mrs. Braindy Naparstek, a mother and grandmother from Crown Heights who worked for many years in her family’s Zakon’s Toys store on Kingston Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, 17 Av.
She was 65 years old.
Mrs. Naparstek was the daughter of R’ Aron and Sima Zakon, who founded the known Crown Heights toy store. In recent years, she and her husband, R’ Baruch Naparstek, took over and managed Zakon’s Toys.
She is survived by her husband, R’ Baruch Naparstek, and children: R’ Yitzchok Naparstek – Fort Lauderdale, FL; R’ Mendy Naparstek – Irvine, CA; R’ Yoel Naparstek – Boro Park, NY; Mrs. Stery Lustig – Crown Heights; Mrs. Mussie Bronstein – Altamonte Springs, FL; R’ Abi Naparstek – Scottsdale, AZ; R’ Levi Naparstek – Cote Luc, Quebec; and R’ Shaya Naparstek – Crown Heights.
She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Sima Zakon and brother, Yosef Zakon – Crown Heights.
