Hatomim Motti Katz, son of Rabbi Zev and Chany Katz, passed away on Thursday night, the 7th of Av, after a long illness. The levaya will pass 770 on Friday at 3:00 pm.

He was 18 years old.
Motti grew up on shlichus in Miami Beach, Florida, and was a student at Mesivta Coral Springs. He was known for his kind heart and the way he looked out for others. He made an effort to include anyone who needed a friend and had a calm, warm presence that people appreciated. He had a strong dedication to mivtzoim and often joined his father in Miami Beach to help people put on tefillin.
Motti always had a positive attitude, even throughout his devastating illness.
Motti leaves his loving parents, Rabbi Zevi and Chani Katz, and siblings Mendel, Baila, Chaya, and Miriam. He is also survived by his grandparents Rabbi Fishel and Malca Katz, and Rabbi Yitzchok and Tzipora Sufrin.
Levaya will pass 770 on Friday at 3:00 pm, followed by kevurah near the Ohel at 4:00.
