Moscow Celebrates Rashbi

The Jewish community of Moscow, Russia, held a Lag BaOmer celebration at the Marina Roscha Shul with Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar. The Crowd heard words of inspiration from special guest Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburg of Kfar Chabad.

After the lighting and dancing, a grand farbrengen was held in honor of the yomtov, with singer Yaakov Shwekey leading the crowd in special Lag Baomer niggunim.

On the following day, 10 children’s parades were held in various neighborhoods throughout the city. Thousands of children recited the 12 pesukim, sang verses of tehillim, and gave tzedaka, making a huge kiddush Hashem.
